Simon Linardi is an Artist/ Architect, founder of Atelier Cartel, a multidisciplinary art/design & architecture studio, that has produced commission murals in Pakistan, India, Lebanon & Italy & exhibited architectural & artworks at the Venice international architecture biennale 'Unfolding Pavilion' in 2018. Simon's first solo exhibition was held at Warrnambool regional art gallery feb-oct 2020 - 'the bull-cow' was a large magical creature that Linardi invented to illuminate the imagination of children & adults as part of the galleries 'children's learning gallery'. it features a dazzling 10m long inhabitable structure, a public colouring book & a 35m x 4m mural of an invented under water world with other imagined creatures.

Linardi's paintings are held in private collections in Australia, Asia, Europe & North America. Linardi is a self-taught painter, that gained master of architecture at RMIT [Melbourne] & Politecnico Di Milano [Milano, Italy]. his painted encompass a vast field of research & themes across cultural identity, the human psyche & zoomorphic mythology. his mixed cultural heritage of Italy, Greek & middle eastern has influenced a desire to gain greater understanding of cultural beliefs, traditions & the visual language in art, design & architecture.
